Dane Scott Creative

Dane Scott is a multifaceted, multidimensional being. One of his deep passions is weaving together and sharing the stories of people which are inextricably linked to the land. Drawing on his past experiences in the fields of environmental management, marine biology woven together with art, he utilises impactful stories of life to promote growth for our future generations. Dane is a co-founder of Manaaki Media, which produces a range of high quality media and storytelling projects. Of Waitaha descent, Dane is also a talented musician, using sound in story weaving traditional Maori instruments (taonga puoro)with an intention to connect us back home to self, place and people. He holds a firm believe in the magic of our ancient teachings and how we can reimagine a new future through ancient eyes.
